Kahrs Harmony is a wide-board engineered oak floor available in both natural and rustic grades, spanning a broad tonal range from pale beige through to smoked and near-black finishes. With 200mm boards, a 3.5mm top layer over a 15mm engineered core, and both 2-strip and 3-strip formats, it's a versatile range that covers everything from clean, contemporary tones to deep, dramatic ones. Harmony's tonal spread is one of the widest in the Kahrs collection, making it a strong option when colour is the main deciding factor.

    Key Features

    • 3.5mm oak top layer over a 15mm engineered core, combining genuine wood texture with structural stability
    • Natural and Rustic grades, letting you choose between a cleaner or more characterful grain pattern
    • 2-strip and 3-strip formats, giving a choice of layered board patterns
    • Wide 200mm boards, showing off more of the oak's grain per plank
    • Broad tonal range, from pale beige and cream through to smoked and near-black finishes
    • Finish choice across Lacquered, Matt Lacquered and Oiled
    • Compatible with underfloor heating, suiting renovated or newly built rooms
    • Sandable and refinishable, extending the floor's usable lifespan well beyond the original surface

    Tones and Grades

Harmony's colour range runs unusually wide for a single collection: pale tones like Pale and Creme sit at one end, offering a bright, contemporary look, while Alloy, Soil and Lava move through smoked greys and deep browns toward a much darker, more dramatic finish. The Rustic grade, used across most of the darker tones, brings out more of the timber's natural knots and grain variation, while the Natural grade used on lighter tones keeps things calmer and more uniform.

    Where Harmony Works Best

    • Contemporary spaces wanting a specific colour — the wide tonal range makes it easy to match a scheme precisely
    • Larger rooms — the 200mm boards suit bigger floor areas
    • Bold, statement interiors — the darker smoked and near-black finishes create real drama
    • Rooms with underfloor heating — the engineered core is built to handle the gradual temperature shifts UFH produces

    FAQ

How many tones does Kahrs Harmony come in?
The range spans a wide selection, from pale beige and cream tones through to smoked greys and near-black finishes, giving flexibility to match almost any colour scheme.

Is Kahrs Harmony suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes. The engineered construction is designed to handle the gradual temperature changes underfloor heating produces.

What's the difference between Natural and Rustic grades in this range?
Natural grade has a calmer, more uniform grain pattern, while Rustic grade shows more knots and natural grain variation.

Can Kahrs Harmony be sanded and refinished?
Yes. The 3.5mm top layer allows the floor to be sanded back and refinished to restore its surface as it wears.

What's the difference between the 2-strip and 3-strip formats?
Both divide each board into narrower strips for a layered look, with 3-strip creating a slightly finer, more traditional pattern than 2-strip.
