Laminate Plank Flooring

Plank is the standard laminate format: long, straight boards laid in a running pattern, the most common choice for most rooms. This range runs from 7mm to 12mm thick, in finish effects including oak, walnut, pine and concrete, with plank widths from around 95mm up to 396mm for a wider, more modern look.

Plank width

• Narrower planks (under 200mm) — a more traditional look, and often the more budget-friendly option
• Wider planks (200mm and up) — a more contemporary look, showing off the wood-effect grain pattern in fewer, bigger pieces per square metre

Edge type

• Square edge — boards sit flush against each other for a smooth, seamless surface
• Bevelled edge (4-sided bevel) — a slight groove between boards that makes each plank read as distinct, closer to the look of real wood flooring

Colour and finish effect

Grey and light tones (light grey, natural, blue stone) tend to suit smaller or darker rooms by keeping the space feeling open, while darker tones (dark brown, dark grey, black) can work well in larger rooms or where you want more contrast against the walls. Oak is the most common finish effect across the range, with walnut, pine, slate and concrete effects also available for a different look.
